Program Manager – Step Up to Wellness

Riverbend Community Mental Health, Inc., one of the largest providers of community-based behavioral health services in New Hampshire, is seeking a full time Program Manager for our Restorative Partial Hospitalization (RPH) Program, also referred to as Step Up to Wellness.  The Manager will oversee the program and participate on a management team that oversees recovery-oriented services for adults living with severe and persistent mental illness.  The schedule for this position is Monday through Friday, 8AM to 5PM.

As the Program Manager, your duties include program oversight with an emphasis on program development, staff training and supervision, developing groups and Illness Management and Recovery (IMR) services, facilitating 15 hours of groups each week, and maintaining program schedule.

Responsibilities

  • Participate in the recruitment and training of newly hired staff
  • Provide clinical and administrative supervision to staff
  • Program development and marketing
  • Resource allocation
  • Develop and facilitate 15 hours of group discussion each week
  • Manage and maintain  program schedule
  • Provide daily clinical group documentation regarding client participation in groups, symptoms, and functional impairments. 
  • Motivate and engage clients with their efforts toward recovery from their mental illness.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in psychology, social work, rehabilitation, education, or human services is required.  Master’s degree preferred.
  • One year of supervisory experience and three years of experience in the mental health field preferred.
  • A valid driver’s license, personal vehicle and auto insurance or access to a reasonable alternative is required.
  • CPR certification, or willingness to become certified is required.
  • MOAB (crisis management) certification, or willingness to become certified is required.
