Admissions Coordinator

Riverbend Community Mental Health, Inc., one of the largest providers of community-based mental health services in New Hampshire, is seeking a full-time Admissions Coordinator in our Franklin location.  The position reports to the Office Manager.  As Admissions Coordinator, you will be the first voice for our clients and their families who are seeking services and connect families and youth with appropriate services within the Franklin Program. We are looking for a team player who possesses a warm and welcoming presence and will provide our customers with professionalism, and courtesy.

Responsibilities

  • Respond appropriately and timely to incoming admissions calls
  • Complete both phone and walk-in referrals
  • Assess client and family needs
  • Send related intake/welcome packets and related communication to incoming parents/guardians
  • Schedule intake appointments
  • Insurance verification, documenting this in Billing System
  • Communicate client responsibilities prior to scheduling appointment
  • Coordinate with local agencies/hospitals for rapid access appointments
  • Provide administrative support to Program Assistant
  • Keep an updated Admissions Manual
  • Support Office Manager

Requirements

  • H.S Diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Two years’ experience in diversified office work is preferred.
  • Experience with health insurance billing procedures preferred.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, interpersonal, oral and written communication skills with attention to detail is required.
